| A Natural Habitat |
Argentina is located in the southern region of the amierican contintent, between latitudes 22 and 54 south and between the Atlantic Ocean and the Andes. The country is 3.492 Kms (2170 Miles) in length from north to south with a surface area of 2.780.092 square kilometers and a population of 36 million. |
| It has different cimates and soils where the best breeds of cattle have adapted and developed. These, together with extensive crop farming, have a singnificant impact on trade as they also give rise to the development of a modern manufacturing and processing industry of meat products and by-products. |
| Its extensive territory, climate, grasses, the genetic quality of the cattle, the breeding and fattening methods, all combined with the excellent sanitary status and strict quality controls in all processes, mean that Argentine beef deserves world-wide recognition. |
